Today, like most days, my Blackberry was logged into AIM (AOL Instant Messenger for my non-web saavy friends), when a message came across the screen.

“Check my blog.”

It was a IM from Jen The Pen (of BET’s Ultimate Hustler/G-Unit Radio/Jen The Pen Bitches-blogging-fame); the two of us being friends, I skipped right over to her site to find that she showed urr boi Young Jamison more than a little bit of love today. Apparently, she took the time last night to read my interview on WeDoItRight and was somewhat moved.

Even through the rain, cold, and tons of work that I had to get done, my homie from Staten Island put a smile on my face.

While attending the Lupe Fiasco show last night at S.O.B’s (thanks Alex), I was handed complimentary tickets to see Janelle Monae live at the Highland Ballroom in NYC. All Bad-Boy-signing fuckery aside, I really like this girl’s music.
