Yep! As if you didn’t know already, urr boi J.A.M.E.S. will be performing live at the Knitting Factory on July 3, 2008 for a pre-holiday weekend bash.

Presented by Move Forward Music, The Red, White & Green Party will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. Also performing are Homeboy Sandman & Keith Murray, and Hot 97’s own DJ Peter Rosenberg will be on the 1’s!

Funny. As I sat here tonight in the studio working on the final (for now) installment of the Two Minute WarmUp series, I received an e-mail from a friend across the country who was reading the blog. Apparently, I didn’t finish up the story of my trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan at the beginning of April.

I guess it being a month and a half later I’ll keep it short and sweet….

I guess the cat is out of the bag; I’m going to be performing alongside one of my childhood idols, Keith Murray, at the Knitting Factory on July 3.
